Summoner is led by Trevor Sumner, a NYC-based entrepreneur, investor and advisor. After his first exit of LocalVox to The Blackstone Group, he dedicated his time to helping founders successfully navigate the startup journey from idea to exit, and all of the challenges and key decision points in between.

Beginning as lead mentor at NYC’s prestigious accelerator, ERA, he found a passion to paying it forward for all the advice and mentorship he received along his journey. Finding substantial success in early stage investing and advising, he formalized his practice as Summoner, and has impacted dozens of successful startups.

Summoner isn’t a typical investor. Returns are nice, but we don’t answer to LPs. We answer to the founders we work with and what type of impact we can have on their journey. We don’t mind the 44% IRR, of course.
